Michel suggested we visit Jardin des Plantes. This large park is a botanical garden, history museum, labyrinth, and a zoo. Even though the beds were in winter mode it was a lovely walk. The labyrinth is the under renovation, but you could see the beautiful gazebo trough the construction scaffolding. The French people love their parks and make sure there are natural areas and green space for all to enjoy.

We also saw this Bee Hotel. We loved the intricate design of each room.

Bees are a huge livelihood  in Paris. You may remember we shared the bee hives in Luxembourg Gardens. We have seen several honey shops and every market has a honey vendor. They even have bee hives on the roof of The Opera House.

Bees Over Paris!

If you have been following this journey with us you know that our dear friend, Faye Barr, flew to Paris with me mid November. We spent 17 busy days playing tourist. Faye had been wanting to visit Paris for the past 40 years and we feel blessed and privileged to have helped her realize her dream of visiting the City of Lights. Faye returned home November 27th to celebrate a belated Thanksgiving with her family. Sometime this past Sunday evening or Monday morning Faye passed away. We are devastated and saddened by Faye’s death. Our love, prayers, and thoughts go to her family and friends.

Peace
