Better Late Than Never

I hope everyone had a splendid Easter. Ours was busy but fun. We went to church and then watched the children at the Easter Egg Hunt. It lasted about 3 minutes! They sure can find eggs in a hurry.

My goal for the rest of the day was to clean off my craft table. I can’t believe how out of control it had gotten. I should have taken some before and after pictures.  I am sure it will get messy again soon though. I have such a small space and no storage so it is hard to keep it neat.

The quilt kept me from making very many Easter cards but I got a few made just in time to mail them off. Here they are – a little late but that’s OK. Easter really lasts for several weeks 🙂

Thanks for stopping by today.

Missing in Action

I really have been missing in action. Yesterday was the first day I had time to make any cards. My life has been consumed with trying to finish this “Memory Quilt” for our church. I really did not want to be involved with this project because of the time and labor factor but it ended up being dumped in my lap. But now it is finished and ready to be hung. It is currently resting on our living room floor and it will be dedicated on the first Sunday in May. I will miss it when it leaves! The quilt consists of squares created by members of the church. Each square represents a special memory or event in the fifty year life of our church. I will be back with Easter cards. I have also started on Mother’s Day cards and hope to share them soon.

Thanks to those of you who asked where I was. It is nice to be missed.
