Beautiful Bouquet for GDP#116

Hello Stampers!

We did get a little bit of snow in Georgia. Just enough to make it look pretty for about an hour. Now it is a melted, sloppy mess. At least the roads are okay and people can get out and about. Not me, I am staying in and stamping today!

Our backyard.

I have a card today for the Global Design Project #116. This week we are CASEing the talented Janneke de Jong from the Netherlands. Her tree is appropriate for our little bit of snow!

I actually decided to start thinking about spring. I have not shown this stamp set much love and thought it was about time to use it again.

I left it blank inside so it could be used for any occasion. I love to have some cards in my stash so I can pull one out when needed.

I love the bright, cheerful colors mixed with the wood texture background.

Tips: Use dimensionals to create interest on your card.

Adding white makes your colors pop.

The linen thread adds some interest and texture.

Does this project make you want/need a Big Shot??

Thanks for stopping by today. Stay warm.

Wishing You Joy for #114GDP

Today I am sharing a card I made for the #GDP114. This week the challenge is a sketch. This is a really fun layout. I can see so many possibilities. Can you? Of course I adapted it to suit my needs.

The colors on my photo are slightly off. This is supposed to be Melon Mambo but it looks red-ish to me. Must be the lighting. (At least that’s is my excuse today)

I also included lots of bling because bling is always a good idea in my book.

The Stampin’ Up! OnLine Extravaganza is still ongoing. There will also be a Flash Sale November 27th. Don’t let these deals slip through your fingers. Time’s a wasting!

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Merry Cafe Valentine for #GDP113

Today I am participating in the Color Challenge for #GDP113. These are some of my favorite colors. Actually, Pool Party is my all-time favorite color (at least it is today).

Is it too early to start thinking about Valentine’s Day? I am almost overloaded on Christmas so I decided to start on Valentines. There are several sets in the Holiday Catalog that will make great Valentine cards. The one I used today is Merry Café. It covers Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s, and general occasions. This is a good stamp investment if you and your friends enjoy coffee and tea.

This card uses Merry Café & Lots of Love stamp sets.  I plan to send this along with a coffee gift card to a friend who enjoys those “sweet, seasonal” coffees at the book store.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping, time to start on those Valentine’s Day Cards!
