Day 2 Truly Tailored Bundle

Today is day 2 of Truly Tailored cards. One reason I love this set is that you can make so many different cards using the same supplies. Change up the layout and each card is unique.

Today’s card uses the “Looking Sharp” sentiment. I made this into a birthday card but it would be perfect for a young man going to prom. Tuck a little spending money into the card and he will be happy!

Tips for this card:

  • I needed some dark enamel dots so I colored them with my Blends.
  • The Simple Stripes Embossing Folder can be tricky. Try it on scrap paper first and adjust your plates as needed. I found it worked fine with colored cardstock, but Very Vanilla needed one less plate.
  • The Corduroy Ribbon is perfect for this card. It is so soft and velvety. I hope we get this in more colors.

Thanks for stopping by today. Happy Stamping!

Bundle Up for a RemARKably Created Blog Hop

Welcome to another Blog Hop. Today we are getting All Bundled Up. It has been pretty cold these past two weeks so this is appropriate!

We are focusing on bundles from the 2018 Occasions Catalog.

I chose the Truly Tailored Bundle ((147752-clear, 146089-wood). When you purchase this bundle you get the Truly Tailored Stamp Set and the Tailored Tag Punch. The star quality accessories that go with this suite are what really makes the bundle a must have purchase.

I am absolutely in love with this stamp set. I made so many cards that I am going to feature one every day for the next week. Make sure you check back daily for more inspiration.

My first card for today is very simple. I think it really shows the pretty yet masculine Designer Series paper. Look at the yummy corduroy ribbon. It is so soft and adds tons of texture.

Below are the measurements for this card:

Night of Navy Cardstock card base: 11”x 4 ¼” Score at 5 ½”

True Gentleman DSP: 5” x 4 7/8”

True Gentleman DSP:  4”x2”

Tranquil Tide: 5 ¼”x 4”, 4 ¼” x 2 1/8” and 2 7/8” square

Very Vanilla Cardstock: Cut 3” square for image. Die cut using largest Stitched Shape Square.

I inked image using Tranquil Tide and then used a Basic Black marker to color over the mustache on the stamp. Cut 5” of ribbon. Wrap around the card front and adhere using glue dots, before assembling the card pieces. This card has lots of layers!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hop on to the next stamper, Libby Dyson. You don’t want to miss any of these bundle ideas!

I was not sold on Picture Perfect Party when I first saw it. It has now become a favorite. Look at all that pretty paper.

Another must purchase is the lovely Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. It is too beautiful to cut. Check out the Gold Glitter Flakes! Love them so much.

Petal Passion Suite is stunning. The birds and flowers and great sentiments…oh my. Don’t miss the matching Thinlits. Purchase the bundle and get a discount.

I have more favorites, but this is all for today. I’ll post more sometime soon. What are your favorites in this catalog? I would love to hear from you.
