Stampin’ Up Convention was held last week in Salt Lake City. As usual we had great classes, enjoyed seeing demonstrations and saw some cool displays. We had the opportunity to play with new products, practice using Blendabilities and used some new stamp sets. We even had the opportunity to purchase some of the new products that will be in the Occasions Catalog. This catalog has some fun Halloween stamps, perfect Thanksgiving items and a wide array of Christmas stamps, paper and accessories. You will not be disappointed!
We also attended a Western Themed Cowboy party. I even rode the mechanical bull. None of my traveling buddies had the nerve to try it.
A new event at convention this year was display boards created by demonstrators. My group participated in this opportunity. We were asked to create about 50 cards/scrapbook pages and decorative items. All our cards were lovely – IMHO!
I had to wait until after convention before I could share, but now I can share them here.
This card has lots of glittery sequins and pearls. Bling is good.
See the ribbon? I dyed the white ribbon with Rich Razzelberry reinker. Love the soft color.
This sentiment works for so many types of cards. Don’t you have a Fabulous Friend you could send a card? I know I do!
