Spring might be here soon

But not just yet. We have had some really warm days in the past two weeks, but today is chilly, chilly. I can’t complain much though, we don’t have snow! How is the weather in your area?

My Card Club met this past Tuesday and we made Easter treats, pocket gift holders and a spring card. This card was fun to make, especially because of the different fold. But OH, MY…..I should have thought about all those butterflies. They are double layered so each card uses 10 butterflies. I love how the double layering makes them look so flirty. This is made using Creative Elements and Papillon Potpourri – two of my favorite sets.

Friendships and Connections

I had a lovely day today with a small group of stampers. Sometimes I need these days to remind me why I started this journey….friendships and connections. I like/enjoy the large classes where everyone is involved, creating (and shopping) but I REALLY love smaller groups. We get to talk, share, talk, share … you get the picture. It is all about connections and friendships. The ladies made a Delightful Dozen set of cards and I even had the opportunity to make 5-6 cards. What a treat!

Here is a card I made a few weeks ago to “Celebrate” those special days. This could be Birthday, Retirement, or Just Because.

I was not sold on the Sentimental Journey SAB stamp set until I saw all the wonderful cards in Pinterest. Now it is one of my new fav’s. LOVE it! It is so versatile.

Have you heard??? Photopolymer by Stampin’ Up!

This totally caught me by surprise. I must admit, I have tried some clear stamps from other companies. I like some, I disliked some. My SU order arrives Friday so I will let you know how I feel about the SU clear stamps. My guess is that I will like them for some applications, but probably not all of my stamping needs.

The Designer Typeset Stamp Set is in the online store starting now. Click to here to order yours today!

How do you feel about clear stamps? Any thoughts?

Just For You

Hello Friends,

Life has been busy since we returned from Paris yet it seems like we just left the beautiful city of lights. Since mid-December we have been to Denver, Orlando, Thomasville, and Savannah!
I have managed to get in a lot of stamping, just no blogging.
I created this card using some paper from the Spring Catalog, Print Poetry DSP. This paper pack makes it soooooo easy to design a card. I am trying to use stamps that have not seen ink in a while…do you have any unloved stamp sets? I have a few 🙂

This is Just for You – to remind you to use some of those old favorites in a new way. Stamp set: Established Elegance.
