Shelli’s Banner and This & That

We went to Stampin’ Up Leadership Convention in January. It was held in Orlando which meant we could drive down and visit with friends and family on the way. It was a fun time with beautiful weather. It was sunny & warm, unlike the weather here today. I don’t think spring will ever arrive. It was cold and windy all day today.  Can you identify with this?????

One of my favorite projects from Leadership was a banner that Shelli shared. I knew I wanted to make one for myself. This is my attempt to copy/replicate her banner. I can’t wait to hang it in my craft room!

It’s a Secret

One of my stampers requested samples using Secret Garden stamp set. This is such a great set. It can be used for almost every occasion. I will continue to make cards with this set but in the meantime here are two cards to give you some inspiration.

Things have been pretty busy around here but I have been able to get in some good crafting time. I hope you have been able to add some ink to paper also.

Don’t forget Friday is the last day of Sale-a-bration. Don’t let it pass you by….

Friends are the Best!

We spent a lovely weekend in the North Georgia mountains with some friends. Resting, relaxing, and visiting with friends is just the BEST. Thanks guys!

Here is a card we made at February club meeting. It is perfect to send to a special friend.  Especially if that friend is a reader. The green label on the side is really a bookmark. It is held on the card with mini magnets. When you remove it you can then use it as a bookmark and the magnets hold your place in the book. Card and bookmark-a mini gift for that special friend.

Both stamp sets are from the Spring Catalog: Feel Goods & Collage Curios.

Don’t forget Sale-a-bration ends March 22. Don’t let this once a year sale pass you by.

Stampin’ Up is sharing a sneak peek of product from the new catalog. This set is called A Round Array and it coordinates with the new 7/8″ scallop punch.

Spring might be here soon

But not just yet. We have had some really warm days in the past two weeks, but today is chilly, chilly. I can’t complain much though, we don’t have snow! How is the weather in your area?

My Card Club met this past Tuesday and we made Easter treats, pocket gift holders and a spring card. This card was fun to make, especially because of the different fold. But OH, MY…..I should have thought about all those butterflies. They are double layered so each card uses 10 butterflies. I love how the double layering makes them look so flirty. This is made using Creative Elements and Papillon Potpourri – two of my favorite sets.
