There are a lot of people in Paris

And we joined about 1 million of them Sunday at the Christmas Market on the Champs-Elysees.This market was huge….while it was fun, loud, and exciting it was too commercial for us. Nothing is as good as a real old-fashioned Christmas Market in Germany. Maybe next year.

They had all sorts of items for sale. We looked at a lot and bought a few small things for gifts. Food was VERY popular along with hot mulled wine.

Beautiful handmade soap. Smelled wonderful!

There were fun activities for the children. Ice skating, slides, trampolines and photos with Pere Noel.

On the way to the market we stopped at the Renault showroom and cafe to look at cars. They have such beautiful cars along with some tiny little smart cars. They need small cars in order to find a parking place!

Another day done….more to come.

  1. I can’t decide between the soap and the Renault. I have heard the German Christmas market is the best anywhere, but with enough mulled wine, I don’t think location would matter!
